The Music, Is It Really Worth It?

The Music, Is It Really Worth It?  Before I begin, let me make this perfectly clear, I’m not shooting for literary correctness, I write strictly from the heart and the majority of the time, straight to the point depending on the subject matter. I’m not trying to win a literary prize for I know those awards mainly go to writers who’s ambitions are New York Times Washington Post Wall Street Journal kind of honors.
With all due respect to ALL eyes that see read and hear this,no disrespect to your intelligence,I just want to have written verbal conversations with you as the friend I see you as. Punctual correctness typos and the like, are not something in a natural conversation, but expressions of verbal discourse are acceptable within reasonable respect. Sincerely: Nuwri Ghostleaf

The Music, Is It Really Worth It?

#HASHTAG this hashtag that, The Music, Is It Really Worth It? The music industry I mean. Everywhere you turn, every article you see or read, all talking about the demise of our beloved industry. Well contrary to belief, Life would not be the same without our creative genius.

Living in a microwave society as we all do now, where everything is only a social media Twitter Vine Instagram Facebook Google Youtube Periscope Snapchat or Blab away. WTH? I mean how are musicians or so called artists to make it in this F*cked Up deranged non complying business to the rules they (president Clinton’s DMCA) set forth.

Companies like Spodify and others report making Millions off the content of creative musicians but pay them less than a penny off their own works? For established artists like Beyonce’ ,Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Adele, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, and all the other owned artists they just flaunt and feed the sheeple, what are the indie artists to do? I ask again, The Music, Is It Really worth It? for them to continue in a controlled industry from Radio to Magazines.

It’s constantly put out there who really runs the industry, Illuminati. who are they? well that another post for another time.

I will say that to a degree the playing field has been leveled somewhat, but you are still going to have to work your ass off by hitting the grind, building your Brand, Audience and Following. In the famous words by my dear musician friend The Silver Conductor, “Learn The Business Of The Business You Are In”. Something he learned from his late mentors, Robert F. Brookins and Earth Wind & Fire’s creator, Maurice White.

Faces of the Industry:

The question still remains, with these powerful figures at the forefront of ALL music media, How do you have a chance? The Music, Is It Really Worth It?

Rhianna a music superstar worth it. i6 Beyonce a music superstar worth it.

Adele, a superstar worth it.Drake music worth it.Taylor Swift music worth it.Madonna musc worth it.

So I guess when all said and done, it’s all up to you and whatever your Whatever is. Pull yourself up by the boots straps and dig in, because believe me you, the game has changed and to win at it, YOU are gonna have to want it more than ever.

Sincerely,
