I can hear you now, Music vs Video What?

exactly what are you asking. well think about it for just a moment, what would you prefer to do listen to music or play a video game? I know it all depends on who you ask but I’m asking you to ask yourself that, Age gender, time of day or night, so many things come into play here it’s too broad of a thing to ask says a 14 year old with cell phone in hand playing an online game with a friend. we haven’t  even added in ipads to our discussion.

It’s said that by 2014 55% of all internet media will be video, (hint hint) does that throw out the chance that music might fall by the wayside? Never! Society as a whole in this modern day and age could not exist without music. No matter what you say or how you say it, we live in a world that depends on music. Imagine a silent movie, better yet imagine YouTube without sound, The question asked probably should be can we live without either one? I hear a resounding NO!

Here’s a an idea to ponder, your favorite singing artist lip singing oh SNAP! that already happens, ok pretend for a moment they made a MUSIC video without sound to your favorite song but you knew that’s how they recorded it, would you still enjoy it? forget just being happy you are seeing them again on screen I’m talking NO MUSIC, NO SOUND.

We as a music and video loving culture would LOOSE our minds. We are not from the beautiful era of silent film, YouTube Charlie Chaplin and get a feel of what I’m sharing with you. Yes that was a great time in history but it would not fly with today’s money spenders, Give me my sound track loud and clear, the ROAR and Thunder of on screen delight of explosions and gun fire,

we haven’t even tapped in on the gaming industry portion if the deal, War Craft with no sound, for that matter pick the most popular game you can think of, would it be the same without the most important element?

It is incredible to think about in a 2013 world. All social media would become a real bummer along with most everything else. Sports, Musicals, Oh stop already we get the point.

Music vs Video What?

Yes ok so I will agree with you there are some genres of music we wish would tone down on it’s societal destruction messages but we also know that would be a litigation battle within it’s self. So moving along quickly, the greater consenses would be that let’s just be happy with what we have until the new bright shinny object that grabs our attention and proves this all to be a thing in our beloved history.

As my dear friend The Silver Conductor

would say, MusicLuv to ALL.
