Music’s How To Game Twitter Facebook Youtube Google

As the industry fights to regain it’s share of the ever decreasing revenue stream (no pun intended) Music’s How To Game Twitter Facebook Google, has changed drastically with no real end of catch up insight. Article after daily article expressing the depressing news of how streaming, downloading and music poaching commonly know as PIRACY, has taken the financials from a once $32 billion industry, down to just 1/2 that at last assessment.
Before I continue, let me make this perfectly clear, I’m not shooting for literary correctness,I write strictly from the heart and the majority of the time, straight to the point, depending on the subject matter. I’m not trying to win a literary prize for I know those awards mainly go to writers who’s ambitions are New York Times Washington Post Wall Street Journal kind of honors.
With all due respect to ALL eyes that see read and hear this,no disrespect to your intelligence,I just want to have written verbal conversations with you as the friend I see you as. Punctual correctness typos and the like, are not something in a natural conversation, but expressions of verbal discourse are acceptable within reasonable respect. Sincerely: Nuwri Ghostleaf
Artists are having to be more creative than ever to get heard except for the illuminati controlled artists.
Even though it’s not exclusive to just the music industry, let’s just stay focused on it for this article.
Have you ever heard of Payola? well it’s where favors are given to the radio programmers to get your music played and heard on traditional radio. Thank goodness for the Internet. Here an artists can create their own network of here I am. The only so called problem with this is you better up your game and gain the knowledge to be ready to become engaged with how the new game is played.
Everything social media is a constant. You must be engaged and stay engaged because of the ever changing nature of the internet. Google’s animal express from panda to zebra’s, will forever be an issue if you don’t. Youtube, Facebook, Vines, Instagram,Twitter and all the other must haves online can drive you traffic and crazy, but you as an artist, must stay focused and engaged.
Everyone from Beyonce’ Madonna, Jay Z, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Pharrell, to the hit shows like The Voice, American Idol, So Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, the producers know and use the power of the internet to stay the modern times course.
One of the saddest happenings going on today is that of a constant reporting of how many millions of dollars Spodify is making off of the creative content of many musiciansm but yet the DMCA law is being literally ignored? Like most government rulings, they wait until critical mass before acting on something that should be just a matter of doing just that, ACTING!
So where does that leave struggling wannabes or fresh new artists hitting the scene? Look at what’s working for others and Duplicate! Don’t try and reinvent the wheel, just find your (niche) audience and cater to them like your musical career depends on it, because it does.
Music’s How To Game Twitter Facebook Youtube Google, is about you doing what works best for you and your creative grooves. One of the really profitable games in the industry is getting your music on commercials and games. I know you are saying but How do I do that? well I’m not going to do everything for you, it’s called do your “Due Diligence” and get er’ done!
Like my very dear independent musician friend The Silver Conductor, says in his indie hit song “Change Up” we all can take heed to the great lyrics in that groove.
